LIVROS ESCOLARES MAIS VENDIDOS

Nova Iorque, 29 de Junho, 2011 / PRNewswire/ - O Clube de Livros Escolares ( Scholastic Book Club) anunciou hoje os livros mais vendidos para as crianças no ano escolar 2010-2011 em sete categorias: livros com figuras, leituras de alfabetização, livros do ensino fundamental 1 (1ª a 4ª série), livros do ensino fundamental 2 (5ª a 8ª série), ensino médio, jovem adulto, não ficcional.

“Esse ano nós vimos que as crianças abraçaram o poder da escolha, com gêneros populares incluindo mitologia, humor e um crescimento contínuo de livros para jovens e adultos,” disse Judy Newman, presidente do Scholastic Book Club. “Nos vemos que as crianças escolhem livros com personagens favoritos, como Clifford e Flar Stanley, enquanto os leitores do ensino médio ficam entre histórias de vampiros e de mitologia ou livros com histórias mais ligadas à realidade.”
